Dr. Chris Rautenstrauch

Dr. Chris Rautenstrauch

DMD, MAGD

Dr. Chris Rautenstrauch is one of the most credentialed and experienced family dentists in the Woodstock and Cherokee County area, bringing over two decades of clinical excellence and a deep commitment to continuing education to every patient he serves.

Education & Training

Dr. Rautenstrauch earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Florida in 1989 and his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry in 2002. His dedication to advancing his knowledge and skills in dentistry is evidenced by the prestigious honors and fellowships he has earned throughout his career.

Credentials & Professional Memberships

Dr. Rautenstrauch holds some of the most distinguished designations available in the field of general dentistry:

  • Master of the Academy of General Dentistry (MAGD) — Awarded to fewer than 2% of dentists nationwide, this designation requires a minimum of 600 hours of continuing education and the successful completion of a comprehensive examination. It represents the highest level of achievement in the Academy of General Dentistry.
  • Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (FICOI) — Recognizing advanced expertise in dental implant therapy
  • Fellow of the Pierre Fauchard Academy — An international honorary dental organization recognizing outstanding contributions to the profession
  • Fellow of the International College of Dentists (FICD) — One of the world’s oldest and most prestigious dental honor organizations

Dr. Rautenstrauch is also an active member of the Georgia Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and the Hinman Dental Society. He currently serves as President of the Metro Atlanta Study Group, a continuing dental education organization, and as President for the Northwestern District of the Georgia Dental Association. He has been consistently named one of Atlanta’s Top Dentists by Atlanta Magazine.

Community Involvement

Dr. Rautenstrauch’s commitment to his community extends well beyond the walls of his dental office. He has served on the board of directors for the Boys and Girls Club of Cherokee County, contributing his time and leadership to support the youth of the community he serves.

Personal

Dr. Rautenstrauch is married and has two sons. Outside of dentistry, he is an avid mountain biker and fitness enthusiast who enjoys staying active in the North Georgia outdoors.

Dr. Jacob Sluder

Dr. Jacob Sluder is a proud Woodstock resident and a deeply invested member of the Cherokee County community. His academic excellence, dedication to his patients, and active community involvement make him a natural fit at a practice built on the values of trust, integrity, and long-term relationships.

Education & Training

Dr. Sluder graduated Summa Cum Laude from Kennesaw State University in 2012 — where he was also a member of the Executive Council of the KSU Student Government and played an instrumental role in lobbying to bring football to Kennesaw State. He went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree with honors from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) School of Dentistry, one of the most respected dental programs in the Southeast.

Community Involvement

Dr. Sluder is one of the most community-connected members of our dental team. In 2022, he was named one of Cherokee County’s “Top 10 in 10” — a prestigious recognition honoring the top ten young professionals under 40 making an impact in the community. He is actively involved with IN WDSTK, the Young Professionals of Woodstock, and the Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce.

Personal

Dr. Sluder and his wife live in Downtown Woodstock with their daughter. His wife is an optometrist with Milan Eye Center in Canton, making theirs a true healthcare family serving the Woodstock community. In his free time, Dr. Sluder enjoys exercising, biking, fishing, and spending time outdoors in the beautiful North Georgia area he calls home.

Dr. Emily Ann Galloway

Dr. Emily Ann Galloway brings a warm, patient-centered approach to dentistry along with a genuine heart for service — both locally in Woodstock and beyond. Her academic background, research experience, and dedication to community health make her a valued and beloved member of the Dentistry of Olde Towne team.

Education & Training

Dr. Galloway earned her undergraduate degree from Elon University in 2016, where she completed an undergraduate research fellowship in the biology department — demonstrating an early commitment to scientific inquiry and academic excellence. She went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry, one of the nation’s leading dental programs.

During her time at the University of Louisville, Dr. Galloway was an active member of the school’s chapter of the American Association of Women in Dentistry. She also received funding through the Indian Health Services to provide dental outreach on the Navajo reservation — an experience that reflects her deep commitment to expanding access to quality dental care for underserved communities.

Personal

When she’s not caring for patients in Woodstock, Dr. Galloway loves playing sand volleyball, cooking, and spending quality time with her husband and their dog, Derby. Her approachable personality and genuine warmth make her a favorite among patients of all ages — especially those who may feel nervous about dental visits.

Dr. Kenneth Kligman

Dr. Kenneth Kligman is the founding dentist of Dentistry of Olde Towne and one of the most respected figures in the Woodstock dental community. After more than 40 years of dedicated service to Cherokee County families, Dr. Kligman retired in June 2024 — leaving behind an extraordinary legacy of clinical excellence, community leadership, and humanitarian service that continues to define the practice he built.

Education & Training

Dr. Kligman earned his undergraduate degree from Emory University in 1977 and his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Emory University School of Dentistry in 1981. He established his private dental practice in Woodstock, Georgia in 1984 — the same year Dentistry of Olde Towne opened its doors — and devoted over four decades to serving the families of Cherokee County.

Community & Humanitarian Service

Dr. Kligman’s dedication to his community is extraordinary by any measure. An active Rotarian for over 30 years, he holds both the Paul Harris Fellow and Will Watt Fellow designations — two of Rotary International’s highest honors. He served as an Executive Board Member of Woodstock’s Downtown Development Authority, helping to shape the growth and vitality of the community he called home.

Perhaps most notably, Dr. Kligman is a board member of Flying Doctors of America, for which he has participated in and led international medical and dental missions to underserved communities abroad — including trips to Panama with members of our hygiene team. His humanitarian work has brought life-changing dental care to people who would otherwise have no access to it.

Personal

Dr. Kligman is married and has two daughters and three grandchildren, with whom he cherishes every possible moment. He is an avid outdoors enthusiast whose love of the natural world has always been a defining part of who he is.
