Having joined our practice in 1985, Lura has spent four decades building relationships with patients and families across Cherokee County — many of whom she has cared for across multiple generations.

Lura earned her degree in Dental Hygiene from Clayton State College in Atlanta, where she received a comprehensive clinical and didactic education in preventive dental care. Her depth of experience and gentle, thorough approach have made her a beloved fixture in our practice.

Originally from the Decatur area, Lura and her husband now reside in Kennesaw. She is the proud mother of three sons and grandmother of three. Outside of the office, Lura treasures her time babysitting her grandchildren and spending quality time with family and friends — the same warmth and care she brings to every patient relationship.

Audra Mathews brings a rich blend of life experience, clinical expertise, and a spirit of service to the Dentistry of Olde Towne hygiene team. With a career in dentistry spanning back to 1994, Audra is one of the most experienced hygienists in our Woodstock office — and one of the most widely traveled members of our entire team.

An Indiana native who moved to Georgia in 1986, Audra returned to her home state for college, earning her undergraduate degree from the University of Evansville in 1993. She later earned her degree in Dental Hygiene from West Central Technical College in 2002. Her commitment to her craft and her patients is matched by her commitment to serving others beyond the walls of our office — Audra has traveled with Dr. Kligman to Panama as part of the Flying Doctors of America medical and dental mission program, providing life-changing care to underserved communities abroad.

Audra raised her niece, Emily, who has gone on to build a career as a Children’s Wear fashion designer in New York City — a fact that fills Audra with enormous pride.

Heather Adams brings academic excellence, a warm personality, and a deep passion for patient-centered hygiene care to the Dentistry of Olde Towne team. Since joining our practice in 2022, Heather has become a valued member of our hygiene team and a familiar, friendly face for patients throughout the Woodstock area.

Heather grew up in Virginia Beach, Virginia, and earned her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene Cum Laude from Old Dominion University — a reflection of the high standards she brings to everything she does. She moved to Woodstock in 2002 and worked in the area for a period before stepping away to raise her two children, Ryan and Kaitlynn. We are thrilled to have her back as a full-time member of our team.

Heather now resides in Canton with her husband, Rob. She is an active and devoted member of Woodstock First Baptist Church, and — as she will happily tell you — her other full-time job is raising her beloved dogs. Her warmth, humor, and genuine care for patients make every hygiene visit feel comfortable and personal.
